I'm 14, and I've always always always wanted to join gymnastics. I have completed a beginner class and that's it. So i know I would be far behind. Is it too late for me to follow thorugh on this seeing as I have almost no expirience and I am so old. (Not like old, but like old for my skill level and to just start) So I can basically do nothing, except a back bend, working on the walk over part, really close to a full split, a really good cartwheel, and a really good round off. And lets just say handstand are a reall weakness. lol. so if you do think i could start and be successful, at what level do you think i shoul start?

No, I don't think I want to be a like pro-going to olympics gymnast. But I have a while before I have to really buckle down and get a career. And this has always been one of my like biggest dreams ever.

Hey! I am eleven. I have only been in tumbling when I was three and gymnastics camp two days last year. Even though I haven't learned it PROPERLY, I can do a bridge to a kickover, a handstand, a front walkover, a cartwheel, handstand, round-off, and so on. I'm pretty flexible, and I want to know how to do a back handspring for next years talent show. Should I just move on to that and not learn how EXACTLY to do everything? Also, what age should the average gymnast learn to do a backhandspring? I thought I was good at gymnastics, but I may be behind! Please help, all of my friends are depending on me for the talent show. None of them are very flexible.

Pleaseeee read!!
So im 13 years old and i started gymnastics at 2 and had my first competion at 7 . I was very good. I quit at level 5 at age 10. But i was about to move up since you must compete one meet of each level and i was skilled.honestly. i had way more than the level asked for. then i had to quit. i regret it so muchh! im now just a junior high cheerleader. and i hate it. i want to take off my shoes and tumble the way i used to. sometimes i look at my old trophies and cry. im also not in shape like i used to be and not as skilled at all. i can only tumble. i asked mom if i could start back but she said no i would quit or be afraid of hard tricks and i was too old. oh i want to so baddddddd. i would do anything to show judges off even though im older, pleasssssseeeeeeeeee helllllllllllllllppppppppppppp i wanna be a gymnast again!

i am only 12 years old i gymnastics for 7 years so my legs are very muscular. but ever since i quit i have started to get (about a year and a half after quiting) broken blood vessels in my legs
please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i dont want my legs to look like this in the summer
there are only a short few now but will they keep coming?????????????????????

in gym class we're doing rhythmnic gymnastics with hula hooops, balls and ribbons. we are in groups of 2.
ddoes anyone know any good music to dance to???
it can be disney music, instrumental songs, or normal songs.. doesnt really matter.

I'm pretty sure they'll make me do a dance and I can come up with a few moves but I always forget which order I had the moves in and then when I do it in front of a mirror I feel like it looks dorky. I don't know which team to try out for the "pom" team which is like gymnastics/dance/kicks or just the regular "dance team" I'm really flexible I just can't do backhandsprings. Well I just don't have the courage to do one. But I can kick like three feet above my head and I'm double jointed in my legs and I can pretty much do the splits. I just think reg dance would be easier to make. Help me with the routine please. How do I come up with one that looks awesome!? I don't want to just find one off line I want to make it myself.

im 13 5"4 and weight 126 lb i have big bones and a bit a muscles and im trying to get fit anyways i wanted to join the gymnastics team cuz my mom wants me to be able to have sumething to do and plus i really want to join. i dont really know much about gymnastics so if somone can tell me more about it i would really appreciate it thx oh and do u have to be like really thin for gymnastics cuz yea im jw :)
