Open Question: What is it that makes the people of a certain race the FASTEST on the tracks?

Their bodies seem sculpted for speed. While in other events which showcase STRENGTH like say, wrestling, the field is wide open for all the races. In gymnastics Chinese dominates. Is this to do with the genes or training or some other mysterious strain???

Open Question: Am I too old to start gymnastics?

Posted in Uncategorized at 6:29 am by Yahoo! Answers: Search for

I used to do gymnastics as a child but at the time my family wern't able to make the time commitments. As I'm older now (14) I feel as if I'm ready to make the commitments myself and start attending regularly but I don't know if I'm too old. What do you think? I know that I'd try my hardest as well, and I feel like I need to use the energy I have because its going to waste. Help? I don't want to go to the Olympics, though it would be cool I'd never be good enough now, and I have been contemplating starting gymnastics for about 1 - 2 years now. My friend does it and she inspired me and I've wanted to do it for ages. I know I'd put the effort in.

Open Question: What did you like best about the olympic games?

Posted in Uncategorized at 5:40 am by Yahoo! Answers: Search for

it could be anything from broadcasting to the sport itself. ex. the opening ceremony i personally enjoyed the bios on the athletes, (esp. Shawn Johnson) and i really liked how that american woman came into the booth and shared China's culture with Bob Costas (i thought the funniest was when she tried to get him to eat the scorpion) as for the sports, Michael Phelps in swimming, the men and women's team gymnastics, gymnastics finals were all my favorites. no, why?..........................
